The protected areas of Porto Conte and Capo Caccia play host to the largest and most beautiful beaches on the Riviera del Corallo (or “Coral Riviera”). Starting from Fertilia, you come first to the small beach of Punta Negra in the bay of the same name, and just a few minutes’ drive will then take you to the better-known beach of Le Bombarde, which is in turn followed by the delightful Lazzaretto beach with its characteristic bays.

Next up are the impressive, evocative panoramas afforded by Mugoni beach, which extends for more than two kilometres in the bay of Porto Conte and gives you the gift of the breathtaking horizon against which the promontory of Capo Caccia is set. The wild beach of Torre del Porticciolo is utterly unforgettable, as is the elegant Dragunara beach. While the first four stand out for their white sand, the beach of Torre del Porticciolo features sand that is a remarkable reddish shade of yellow.

All of the beaches offer water that is of an excellent quality, with a crystalline transparency and a colouration that varies from azure to turquoise. Each of them has a story to tell and encapsulates a certain feeling.
